Scott Leishman Joins MerlinOne and Brings 12 Years of Experience in Legal Technology

Quincy, MA, December 7, 2009 - MerlinOne is pleased to announce the addition of Scott Leishman as Senior Legal Markets Executive. Mr. Leishman brings 12 years of sales and marketing experience to the MerlinOne electronic document discovery team.

Mr. Leishman, who is based in the New York City area, will be leading the sales effort for the MerlinOne e-Discovery platform, bringing industry innovative pricing to the legal market.

"I am extremely excited to help bring a revolutionary new ESI pricing model to the legal markets, especially with this 15 year-old-leader in digital asset management. The death of 'per GB' pricing, click charges and user fees will mean affordable ESI processing and review," commented Mr. Leishman.

Mr. Leishman is a member of the NY and NJ bars and has worked at Matthew Bender/LEXIS-NEXIS in sales and marketing as well as with litigation support vendor AmLaw Discovery (now Site Logic). He also worked for three years at leading venture capital firm Spencer Trask, during which time they funded FastCase, an innovative price leader with an online state and federal cases and codes database. He has provided consultative services to FastCase, as well as leading publisher Wolters Kluwer. Scott is a US Military Academy and Fordham Law School graduate.
