MerlinOne E-Sheets Adds New Functionality - Ad Verification, Ad Highlighting, On-Demand Reports

Quincy, MA, March 19, 2005 - MerlinOne's E-Sheets® electronic tearsheets and invoice system has been enhanced with a number of features in response to the user community.

Ad Highlighting - Finding a small ad on a busy page on a computer screen can sometimes prove difficult. With E-Sheets' new highlighting feature, that is no longer the case. Using intelligent xy coordinate positioning, E-Sheets locates even the smallest liner ad and highlights it with an arrow pointing directly at the ad. Feedback from the E-Sheets community has been enthusiastic.

On-Demand Activity Reports - One of the best things about having an orderly constructed database is the ability to get the information you want when you want it. E-Sheets new reporting module has just made the task easier and more customizable for each newspaper. In addition to getting the standard daily and weekly reports of system activity, administrators can go to a reports screen and select a number of criteria to generate a report on-demand. This can be either aggregate numbers to see total activity trends or publications can analyze the activity of a specific key client to find ways to maximize the service for them. Not only is it a handy customer support tool, senior managers should find the ready access to such data quite helpful in running their business. Until now such data would be very difficult for most newspapers to track down.

Ad Proof Verification - Seeing an ad before it is published and signing it off is another process that takes more time than is often available. With E-Sheets you can now use the tearsheet service to view, make changes, and/or verify the ad prior to its publication. This provides the newspaper with a record of the advertiser's sign-off. Once published the ad is linked to the electronic tearsheets page.
