Samantha used MerlinOne's archive software while working in the Boston Globe's photo department before joining MerlinOne in 2000. For the past nine years she managed the Merlin-Net website, handling photo reprints for newspaper customers and licensing sales for corporate clients. Samantha was recently promoted to the Sales & Marketing department where she assists with trade shows and new market research.
Samantha attended the University of Massachusetts where she earned degrees in English Literature and Fine Art Photography and a Certificate in Communications. While at UMass, Samantha was the Editor in Chief and Art Editor for the school's literary journal, The Watermark, and also curated student gallery exhibitions. Samantha's photography has been exhibited in a number of art shows in Massachusetts and Louisiana and in local and national publications.
In her free time, Samantha competes in open shows and on the New England Quarter Horse Circuit with her horses Devon and Autumn. She enjoys traveling and has visited Vietnam, Morocco, Ireland and Peru. She also volunteers with the Quincy Crisis Center and the Massachusetts Quarter Horse Association.
