Paul joined MerlinOne in 2005 as Chief Operating Officer. Before coming to MerlinOne, Paul was the Director of Newsroom Technology/Imaging at the Boston Globe. Prior to that position, he was Assistant Director of Photography. He spent 10 years as staff photographer for the Associated Press based in Boston. He has won many photography awards, including sharing a prestigious Pulitzer Prize for feature photography while a staff member at the Boston Herald American in 1978.
Paul is a graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology where he earned his Bachelor's degree in photography. Paul is an avid cyclist and skier. He also enjoys snowshoeing, hiking, scuba diving, and photography.
